After remaining under the care of team medical staff and in self-isolation since March 11, Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood has been cleared from the coronavirus, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Wood was cleared from the coronavirus on Wednesday, the source said, after becoming the third known player in the NBA to have a positive test for the virus after Utah Jazz teammates Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.
Wood is averaging 13.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists for Detroit this season.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has also issued a stay-at-home order until April 13 where residents are advised to stay home unless they are performing an essential task such as grocery shopping or medical-related tasks. Those within the Pistons traveling party are also practicing social distancing to stay safe.
