Griezmann joins Barcelona
Antoine Griezmann would make the switch from Atletico Madrid to FC Barcelona over the summer.
Barcelona are believed to have paid £107.7m for the Frenchman’s services.
Griezmann has since played seven games across all competitions for the Catalan giants.
In those seven games, Griezmann has managed to find the back of the net on three occasions, although two of those goals came in one clash vs Real Betis.
Griezmann would make no secret of his desire to leave Atletico Madrid this summer.
Back in May, Griezmann, speaking on Atletico’s official Twitter account, announced he would be leaving the club.

Despite Griezmann announcing in May he would be leaving Atletico, he did not join Barcelona until July.
Atletico Madrid would claim the fee Barca paid for Griezmann was not enough:
“The amount deposited is insufficient to pay his release clause because it is obvious that the agreement between the club and Barcelona was done before his fee dropped from €200 to €120 million.” As quoted by AS.
Now, on Thursday the 26th of September, Barcelona have been handed a fine from Spain’s disciplinary committee.
Irregularities surrounding the signing of Antoine Griezmann.
It was previously reported that Barca could face a one-game stadium closure over the Atletico/Griezmann issue.
But as explained by AS, the fine was chosen instead:
As an alternative to closing the stadium the judge proposed fining FC Barcelona 300 euros for contravening articles 88 and 126 of the Spanish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Code.
