ANAHEIM, Calif. – UFC 241 fight-week activities officially got underway Wednesday with open workouts, which included the top four fighters from Saturday’s card.

The contrast between the main and co-main event were notable, with the heat between Daniel Cormier (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) and Stipe Miocic (18-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) gearing up ahead of their heavyweight title rematch, and the alleged “beef” between Anthony Pettis (22-8 MMA, 9-7 UFC) and Nate Diaz (19-11 MMA, 14-9 UFC) simmering.

What to make of it all? MMA Junkie senior reporter Mike Bohn and managing editor Simon Samano reflect on everything that unfolded at UFC 241 open workouts and how it could impact fight night.

UFC 241 takes place Saturday at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
