Alexis Sanchez & Manchester United

For the second day running, the future of Alexis Sanchez at Man United is in focus in the UK press.

The 30-year-old is under contract at Old Trafford until 2022.

However, after scoring only three Premier League goals for United since leave Arsenal, Sanchez is surplus to requirements in Manchester.

Yesterday the Sun claimed that Man United would be willing to subsidise Sanchez’s wages to loan him out this summer.

On Thursday, the Times goa step further claiming that Alexis is ready to leave the Red Devils.

What does Alexis Sanchez want?

The Times report the following:

Alexis Sanchez want is looking to leave Manchester United before the European transfer window shuts on September 2.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are in front of Sanchez in the pecking order and Solskjaer wants to give considerable game time to Daniel James, the £15 million signing from Swansea City, and 17-year-old forward Mason Greenwood this season.

Sanchez has fond memories of Italy and would like to play in Serie A again.

Four Serie A sides interested

The Times believe that four Italian top flight sides are interested in signing Sanchez.

Those clubs are Juventus, Napoli, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

However, offloading Sanchez to any of these clubs may be tricky.

The Times note that all four of these cubs are only considering a loan deal for the Chilean.

Of course, prior to moving to the Premier League, Sanchez enjoyed a successful spell with Udinese.

Which club is the most likely to sign Alexis Sanchez?

When considering Sanchez’s possible suitors, Inter Milan could be the most viable option.

Inter have not only signed Sanchez’s buddy Romelu Lukaku, but they also seem to have space in their roster after Ivan Perisic joined Bayern Munich.

Alternatively, Napoli could be a good fit for Alexis. The club currently have just two forwards on their books: Arek Milik and Dries Mertens.
